A who's who lineup that is a short list of the most prolific (and solid) in this category at present. And this looks about right.
I would say that they use AI well and would most likely not mind. I would also say that under no circumstances would I do this for writing that is not for this purpose. Imagine sharing something meaningful and deeply personal only to have AI suck the marrow out for its own usage...
Then again, what kind of person would want to distill that kind of writing?

Agree, having AI summarize a piece about their personal journey would be like getting the cliff notes of a novel. You’ll understand what they were saying, but you won’t really feel or experience the art in a human way.
