I’m building a business that works for my life.

Not the other way around.

I started my entrepreneurial journey 10 years ago.

First in the “real world”.

I spent five years raising over $4M, building a hotel in Colombia, managing a team that, at its peak, had over 100 people between construction and operations.

We opened just in time for COVID.

That experience taught me a lot.

Mostly about what I don’t want to do again.

I don’t want to build a big team.

I don’t want to chase scale for scale’s sake.

And I don’t want a business that takes over my life.

What I do want is a lifestyle business that works in 2–3 hours a day (ideally less). Something that brings in real income, helps people, and leaves room for what matters most: raising my kids, being a husband, and actually living life while I build.

What This Newsletter Is About

Unscaled Solopreneur is where I share lessons from:

• Building a multi-million dollar real-world business (the hard way)

• Transitioning into funnels, email, AI, digital products, coaching and consulting

• Helping clients build scalable businesses (while intentionally not scaling my own)

• Learning how to grow smarter, not bigger

• Building through burn out, so I can never burn out again

• And doing it while managing chronic illness, dealing with depression and anxiety, and boatloads of self-doubt and imposter syndrome.

This is probably going to resonate most with people like me: 40+, raising kids, juggling family life, and trying to build something sustainable without hiring a team or running an agency.
